Concerns exist about tuning the intake of carbohydrates, proteins and other nutrients across the day in relation to the planned exercise and its recovery. In contrast, the sports nutrition market is mainly composed of one-nutrient solutions, not facilitating a well-balanced choice. A science-based concept is presented that will improve the daily nutritional support of athletes.
