Carl Jorgensen, Agriculture Consultant, Plant Based Foods Association

Carl Jorgensen provides independent consulting services to brands, manufacturers, and investors in the natural products field. Currently Agriculture Consultant for the Plant Based Foods Association, Carl was previously a Director at Daymon Worldwide, where he provided global support for retailers’ organic and natural private brands. He created a 1-year natural industry training course, attended by Daymon associates from around the world.

Carl was President of a USDA-accredited organic certification agency, CEO of a food importer and distributor, as well as a co-founder of a food testing company offering the world’s first commercial test to detect GMOs in foods. Additionally, Carl also owned an organic farm in Iowa.
