EU scrutinises the addition of certain substances to foods: Latest news on ingredients prohibited, restricted and under discussion [Webinar]

In the EU, the safety of certain ingredients with nutritional and/or physiological effects can be evaluated in the context of Article 8 of Regulation (EC) No 1925/2006. Following an assessment from the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), the concerned substances are considered for potential inclusion in Annex III as being either prohibited, allowed under specific conditions of use, or set under further scrutiny.
