Food information to consumers: Regulatory changes to labelling requirements [Webinar]

In this on-demand webinar, leading European regulatory experts discuss the upcoming regulatory changes to labelling requirements for food and beverages industry.

May 12, 2023

As part of the Farm to Fork Strategy, the EU’s roadmap to sustainable food systems, the European Commission has announced revision of regulations related to the food labelling, to help consumers make informed, healthy and sustainable food choices.  The panel thus examines planned changes to FIC regulation and setting up a front of pack labelling scheme, establishing nutrient profiles. They also discuss green claims substantiations and revision date marking ("best before" and "use by" dates), as a recent EU study showed that 10% of all food waste generated in the EU could be linked to this labelling requirement.

Join this session to learn what is coming and how the EU is looking to empower consumers to make more sustainable and healthy food choices, and how companies can start preparing for the planned changes in the regulatory framework.
